My book is pretty much cancelled but i didnt want to leave you guys high n dry forever so i drew a normal interaction between Isabelle and Roxy. Roxy doesn’t even have a boyfriend, Izzy is just losing her shit
Got access to old school yearbooks last week. I spent most of the time looking at the 2008 and 2009 yearbooks. I saw some kids thst I thought characters from my book would be friends with, so i decided to draw them interacting. This is the first in the series, next i’m drawing Isabelle and Cameren

Tried translating the art style to traditional art: i honestly think it turned out pretty well. Originally Roxy was gonna be Tarja Turunen from Nightwish but then I remembered the band Kittie exists, and the band Kittie is quite possibly the most Roxy thing ever.

I made this drawing as a gift for the employees at a thrift store inside of my local mall (said thrift store actually 2000s themed, funnily enough: they even have a crt tv with a ps2 INSIDE OF THE STORE). Isabelle is actually wearing the shirt I got from there, although it fits on her better than it does on me haha
Tried making this look traditional: might do an ACTUAL traditional version if i ever find myself in the mood to do so: i have an art scanner and I want to see how this book’s art style translates to traditional art, sooo—

This is probably the last drawing of Aspen before I decide to mercilessly redesign her.
