Reason for tagging pl0v instead of yk regular spelling. That's a word for a traditional dish in the country which tag I do not want to invade. It would be peaceful for both of us. They live happy life without reading my doomed stuff about figure skating and I live better without them having me mass reported for whatever

Fun observation I've made over the last half a year or so: whenever one of my dumb posts breaches containment it's followed by a sudden surge of followers which is then followed by a slow drip of losing followers

I like to imagine people follow me because of my funny posts only to realize most of my posts are about stupid nerd shit or Rouge the Bat having huge honkin' bazonkers

"kill them with kindness" isn't always a great approach but like when someone starts off a discussion about something inconsequential like fandom or pop culture or how to pretend to be elves best with an aggressive and abrasive attitude or responds to one of your takes with a wild misreading that completely misses your original point sometimes the best thing to do is to respond with an "oh that wasn't what I meant but I would happily explain my point again :)"

Nothing more infuriating than going in looking for a fight and finding someone who's willing to diffuse the situation in the most smugly passive aggressive way and you know however you respond you'll end up looking like an asshole

I actually didn't consider tagging etiquette when I made that DW post and maybe I should've. I feel conflicted on tagging etiquette in general because I feel like it's always okay to tag for the topic of your post even if the content is negative, but I see how it could become really tiring for people as well.

I know it's an incredibly prissy post but, like, I am so puzzled about it and I don't want to pretend like I'm not.
