the fact that there are nearly 400 slides of proof for Byler, thousands upon thousands of posts about parallels and analyses and theories and just goddamn hope and love for what could’ve been a beautifully written relationship, a phenomenally well down representation of queer love—all of that down the fucking drain

why? cause they were scared of losing profit? losing viewers? then fuck everything they stand for. that show is about losers and outcasts and if they care more about the fucking homophobic GA than they care about the losers and freaks that have put so much time and love into praising their show, analyzing it, spending day in and day out making posts about it, then fuck them.

self acceptance? really? i’m sorry if that’s the finality of will’s arc then it fucking sucks. yes i’m happy and proud that he’s accepted himself but that means he’s just destined to be alone?

and you suddenly wanna erase the whole signals and avalanche talk? i’d understand moving past it if you didn’t have mike EXACTLY replicating those signals. “shared looks” “bump of the elbow”. you can’t have that conversation, have mike FOLLOW those actions, word for word, in the very next episode, and then declare it’s unrequited.

you can’t make mike invested and supportive and protective in volume one to make him as emotional and entertaining as wet paint in volume 2 &3. but they know they had to bc if mike showed emotion and was present, byler would have to be canon

Does it drive anyone else crazy that we don’t know anything about Angela’s mother? Was she married to this universe’s version of Billy Gibbons? Was she his girlfriend? Or was she just a ZZ Top groupie? Did Angela spend a lot of time with her as a kid? Did she go on the road with them or did she have a steady home somewhere? Did she die? Or is she still alive, and she never comes up because Angela never actually knew her at all? We know she was Chinese, but that’s about it. And even when Angela’s ethnicity is brought up, her mother still isn’t directly mentioned; she’ll say “I’m half-Chinese,” not, “My mother is Chinese.”
