If he was honest, he wanted to blurt out ‘ say no ’ but he had no reason to.
Finally, Nikolai’s head turned in Will’s direction, brow raised as he studied every inch of the boy’s face in search of a tell, a sign that he didn’t want a date with this nobody, because that’s who he was to Nikolai. That’s what he hoped he was to Will too.
