are you religious/spiritual?

I guess.. I actually had something of a weird moment recently because I wasn’t really sure of my beliefs within a context where seemingly everyone else was. So that was a really unpleasant moment for me. As a result, I had to go and listen to somethings and do some reading to really get a better handle of what I think.

I tend to lean towards something of the agnostic persuasion but I do take a lot of that in combination with Unitarian Universalism more or less in a casual fashion. So that’s about as much as I go there.

Oh I don’t know. As long as I’m trapped in a fleshbag prison, I doubt I’ll ever be accurately represented (droid problems lol)

But uh. as far as fleshbag prisons go.. this is a pretty decent one. And I try to dress and present myself in a way that feels genuine to me. So I think I’ve made some progress in that so.. I get a rough approximation of my ‘real self’ but you can only get so much from that without actually talking to me.

On the use of the "happy birthday" song (or lack thereof) in gf: it IS actually copyrighted. BUT! The person who originally wrote the tune wrote it to be "Good morning to all", so the tune is copyrighted to them and their estate (or rather Warner, since they own the rights now) but the lyrics aren't. So no one can use the tune without shelling out to Warner (there was a legit case of someone trying to dispute it in 2013 but Warner won)

It makes me laugh that dudes like that think they own punk. Like, do they not realise that queer, femme punks of colour were part of the scene way before them?

HONESTLY and his definition of punk makes me cringe like, yeah the majority of the punk scene is shit but imo its about activism and creating safe spaces for minorities. But of course there are these old men that think punk is more about shock value and being as offending to ppl as possible

That's fucked up. Why would someone do that? Did they tell her what it was or did they pretend it was like aspirin or something?

They pretended it was a painkiller, so she didnt know what overcame her when it started working and she was really ill already so :/ I wonder who it was because i want to hit them in the face really hard
