Nader and his family have been displaced nine times, they lost their home and most of their belongings. The winter has been difficult, with rain and low temperatures without adequate shelter and clothing. You have to remember that during the ceasefire they are still living with the consequences of everything has happened, and the reality is that many people in gaza have lost everything they had, and their schools and hospitals and homes are gone. They still need your help even if the bombs stop. Nader is seventeen years old and his brother’s campaign supports their family of eight, with the goal to evacuate to safety. It’s very urgent for them to leave because Nader’s father has cancer and the treatment he needs is not accessible in Gaza anymore, and if left untreated it will continue to get worse. They have already lost so much, please help save their loved father and grandparent.

When I’m writing this, they have almost 91,000 out of the 100,000 goal! That’s only 9,000 left to reach their goal so they can finally leave when the border opens and begin the process of healing and rebuilding their lives. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in Gaza; with no food, no medicine, no clean drinking water; with oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, doubts, and daily traumas caused by everything around us and inability to care for loved ones. the fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us.
