We’ve got a phobia of needles (although it’s mostly about getting needles in us) and our main way of coping is rambling incessantly (and generally somewhat incoherently) about our most recent hyperfixation. Normally we’d write it off as distracting ourself (which. is probably still the case), but given how “of two minds” we tend to be about our proper Phobias (especially bugs), I think there is a reasonable chance we’re just dragging Red into front to ramble about shit and deal with whoever’s panicking.
