The kind of sleepy I get after the new year is insane. It’s like I was going going going and then my body slammed the brakes and I face planted into the sleep zone. It’s a good thing I have a flexible enough job! Binnie caught me snoozing a couple times at the desk, he always puts a pillow or something under my head after taking some dumb videos (because I’m adorable but also very dumb). Hey kids remember, breaks are not restful themselves, you gotta rest to be rested 😴

Something lots of people don’t realize is that even though the actual siren turned human in my family was generations ago, some things still linger. Like her love of pearls and sea shells. I’ve always felt close to the tides, which is probably how I met my bestest friend in the whole world. We sit on the beach for hours sometimes, just chit chatting away. He’s shy, kinda. Or more accurately he’s scared of people. Not cause he fears us, but he fears himself and the harm he does to us. I don’t know much about his curse, but I do know I can sort of protect myself from it. I’ve always been a bit more airheaded, so I don’t mind the consequences as much. And curses like this love interesting memories. I’m going to ask for a protective seal soon, to see if that helps. It might not help as much as he’d like, but if it makes him feel a little more at ease, it’s worth it. What would you do for someone you loved?

In my dream last night, someone in the grocery store aisle asked me to read the raisin box which was in front of me, and it said to microwave it first to soften them. Weird, huh? It was like $6.99 for a small pack of snack raisins so I said FUCK that. SMH @ dream-flation.

cannot believe in the lego show for kids, the show about legos, they introduced the concept of classism in season 8 and then the emperor of ninjago (which we did not know existed until this season) and his wife were MURDERED by their adopted daughter then proceeded to not talk about this fact ever again. (like, oh harumi is a very good villain and she comes up a lot but the fact that the head of government was assassinated was never discussed beyond season 9.)
i need to know what kind of government ninjago had to form after the fact.
the mayor was apparently a super powerful figure? but who's above the mayor. why does ninjago city seem to be on a totally different governmental system than anywhere else. there are small villages. there's an entire other kingdom to the south of ninjago city. how are the kingdoms divided. how many are there really. why is ninjago city so isolated. i need to know these things
only reason the ninja never use skills they've learned in the past is because the power scaling would've been insane
