Chrissy got a job at the local coffee shop on campus. She didn't know Steve Harrington was going to Notre Dame too. She only had a few run in with him between classes. She would say hi, but he always gave her a funny look like he didn't know her.

The blonde put on her barista apron, and started taking orders. She didn't need to ask the guy coming up for his order. She wrote Steve on the cup while taking his order. Switching with a coworker before he could even correct her. She grabbed the box of merch. Mug, and tumblers to put on the shelves that just came in.

Summary: The Apocalypse ended two years ago.

The Winchesters have returned to their eat-slay-love lifestyle. Castiel has returned to the Winchesters. Heaven has found an uneasy peace, Hell is, well, Hell but it seems manageable. Everything is copacetic, or as copacetic as life on God’s green Earth can be.

And yet, Gabriel can’t enjoy it. Because Gabriel is a ghost.

Rating: Mature (mostly for language apparently)

Thoughts: I... this.... go read it. This is great. This is a GREAT canon-divergence and I need more like this one. Gabriel the bored and prank-happy ghost is a really great image.

Do you know of any fics where Gabriel reveals to Sam that he's actually alive after hammer of the gods?xo

Pretty much anything in the Set After Season 5 Tag should fit this. They are all fics that take place after Sam jumps into Hell. I can't think of specific ones with something like a reveal though.

Any followers know of some good ones?

Summary: A normal hunt take an unexpected twist that could help in their battle with the Leviathans' but to get the information needed Sam will have to take a trip into the dreamscape of the most notorious troublemaker in history with surprising consequences.

Rating: G

Warnings: War, maybe a touch of homophobia if you read it that way.

My thoughts: I really enjoyed this. It's a great setup for having Gabriel come back and I really liked the dynamic they developed in the dreamscape. I would have liked to see them actually get together at the end, but it's more pre-slashy instead. HOWEVER, I will warn the grammar nazis to beware, this fic definitely needs a good betaing (but it was good enough that I kept reading anyway).
