Quest: Train Them Right
Standing in the centre of Aantyl, Tempest glared at the NPC weapon merchant in front of her. She'd spent the best part of 10 minutes looking at a lovely pair of daggers that she'd had her eye on ever since she'd first walked by them sometime last week. Oh they were so pretty and while she wasn't a particularly materialistic person, just one look at these daggers was practically making her weak at the knees. The problem? After falling in love with them, she'd been rudely informed that her level was too low. Why couldn't he have just said something at the beginning? Now she was just fuming and in a really bad mood.
There was a reason why she was happy with her constant level 15 status. It meant she still had a good 85 levels between her and escaping this paradise. That meant that if she accidentally leveled up at any point she was still safely stuck in this world and that suited her just fine. But she had to admit, having spent time with people who were a higher level than her, it would be nicer just to be a little stronger. That way she could stop almost dying every time she ended up in a fight. Not dying was always a good goal to aim for in this world. Maybe if she tried to get to around level 50 and then just stopped trying? That way she'd be relatively strong, but also still be safely far away enough from the 100 level mark. Yes that was a good plan. But for that plan to happen she needed quests!
Sending one last dirty look at the NPC, she turned around and went searching for a quest that would earn her a good deal of experience. But all of the good ones were way too high level and half of those ones required a partner as well. This was just not her day. Tempest felt herself developing a headache and was about to just leave the city altogether when she spotted a familiar, tall and handsome figure. The gears in her head turned and while she hated to admit that she needed help...well she really did need it and she wasn't going to get a silly thing like pride get in her way.
Striding up to him, she tiptoed up to tap him on the shoulder. "Theseus...Hi...yeah...I need you for something. Not exactly a Minotaur situation but still. How'd you feel about helping me kill 50 or so wolves?" She rattled off, not really giving him much room to argue as she just grinned broadly at him.
