I hate that video thumbnail going around with the suzuhira hiro gothic anime angel where the video maker supposedly just complains about the eroge industry being the source of all the uncredited anime art they liked as a kid

I saw someone talk about it and was like "I bet it's the gothic anime angel" and then sure enough after seeing it (3 days later after not looking for it) it was the gothic anime angel

anyway I refuse to watch the video but just from the clickbaity text alone I hate the othering of "us" (women who respect women and hate porn made for straight men) vs. them (people who supposedly don't support women... even though the illustrator is a woman and that particular piece of art was not for any pornographic game)

anyway I hope there are more women making eroge in the future (not that there's aren't plenty already). BL games or otome games or otherwise

in elin I entered the moongate in my base by accident and ended up in this freaky area where there's a bunch of extracted DNA all over the floor (which I unfortunately cannot pick up) and an area in the center with an unknown number of livestock signs stacked on top of each other surrounded by cell walls where a bunch of black angels, shadow witches, mechanized infantry, fox maids, and cats wander around (among other things I can't see bc every tile is filled with at least 3 NPCs)

aside from the lag, it's the ideal place to train my music skill (which has risen by about 50 since I first discovered this place) and I am making so much money too. also when I walk away and the NPCs are no longer visible, sometimes there's vomit on the ground (which has no particular use besides going into my personal vomit collection) and "eggs of younger cat sister" which is like... idk where they're spawning from bc I have yet to see them among the crowd but I guess this game brought back the younger cat sisters that elona had. so far none of them are fertilized eggs but I'd love to start my own younger cat sister farm

I played it in japanese (with plenty of help from text extraction tools) and it was pretty cute. cute if you like seeing a girl get dismembered, crushed, raped, etc. with every ending being lethal

I haven't been at my computer for 4 days to look at anime characters getting tortured so last night I had 3 dreams about torture

for a moment I was looking at my dash and was like "these are the worst posts that I've ever seen" to the point of blocking the accounts that posted them, not because they were offensive or anything but because they were entirely unfunny/uninspiring and didn't want to waste my time looking at more content from the same accounts should they end up on my dash

then I realized I was accidentally on the explore page and not my home feed
