Visual diary #4 | it's a funny day: it was also the last day of our intervention series and suddenly most of the plans went south~ there was a huge demonstration going on, the busway stop operating for one day, the traffic is jammed in one side of the road and clear at the other side, and each one of us are stuck in all different locations. And yet, everything did not stop Yonaz for doing his last intervention. Sometime, Jakarta is funny like that.
"Ruang Jeda", 2014
Pasangan Baru (Nastasha Abigail and Dimas Ario) reusing the leftover space of what used to be a phone box. Inside the pause room there was a chair,a mixtape made by Dimas,and narration by Nastasha; bringing people off the busy street and into a 12 minutes pause. At the middle of the project, the artist was amazed by how most people are in such a hurry, so they start to reflecting how they probably act the same in daily life and start making a performance.

"Waktu Bertemu dengan Kalimat-Kalimat di Jalan", 2014
While taking a long walk; Anggun Priambodo was posting poetic text onto the public space along Jl.Jend.Sudirman. The text was quoted from writers, thinkers, zen-master, and even himself, giving the text an even longer time-span and broader audience.
"Aku Tidak Percaya Pada Berita, Aku Percaya Pada Kamera", 2014
Yudha Sandy's intervention was to occupy public space to see how people respond and at the same time he acts as a reporter from PoS Channel~ a fictitious tv channel he creates that specifically report about the history of street names and statues in Jakarta.

"Framed Space", 2014
Dito Yuwono's intervention on several benches along Jl.Jend.Sudirman. In this project, he offers a playful pause through the rose-colored binoculars and framed point of view through short sentence describing what one might see in the distance.
