i just melt at the thought of leaning into her before tilting my head up just enough to kiss her jawline before i doze off into a comfortable sleep
i yearn for the kind of girl who will keep me awake with her for hours talking about anything, but when she looks at the clock she'll tell me to go to bed, that she'll tell me more in the morning. it'll be subtle things like this that let me know she cares.
i adore the idea of laying in bed with her, our legs tangled together while one of us reads and the other scrolls through tumblr
the fact that a woman is not lying next to me while i play with tiny strands of her hair right now is homophobic
i want to show her the world. i want to show her she can jump on tables and shout from the rooftops about anything at all. i want to show her all my hiding spots, every nook and cranny. i want to take her to every place she's never been. i want to grab her hand to help her up trees, and i want her to lean her head on my shoulder as we lay in a field of flowers. i want to point to stars with her on the roof of her house, and i want to wrap my arms around her as we lay in bed. i want to push her around in target shopping carts and pick out a dog with her at the local animal shelter. i want to kiss her every freckle and pet every strand of hair. i want to look into her gorgeous eyes and just breathe the same air as her. and more than anything, i want to tell her i love her.
i want to wrap my arms around her waist as i step up behind her and shower the back of her neck with kisses
i can't wait for her to wake up curled into my side and look up at me only to get this sleepy smile and while her voice is still thick with sleep she'll mumble something about being happy to be there and i'll run my fingers through her hair and kiss her forehead and tell her to go back to sleep
