For this one,I did think during the 6 month gap,Raoul treat her to a lovely horseback ride later do the picnic in the attic as they used to do as kiddos as he think it's better than do a reservation at a fancy restaurant for their proper first date(he did plan that but it's not fun),he took the time and effort to treat her like a princess,Of course doodling animals is a long way from my comfort zone for me through I use to draw a lot when I was small

Day 1: Dreams/Nightmares

Black Christine/Asian Raoul

ID:Raoul a biracial man of Vietnamese/French heritage who is wearing formal wear trying to comfort Christine of Afro heritage from the hanging of Buquet which she know it's the Phantom

Christine, don't say that,Forget this waking nightmare

Well here's my spin on the Raoulstine week with a twist as I showcase my Christine and Raoul of different ethnicities (which challenged by a lovely person on discord after seeing my Lucy and EmilieChristine doodles and loving them to bits) and was inspired by the inclusive casting of the first black Christine in the West End which is the lovely Lucy St Louis who show that playing Christine is possible (despite having Ali Ewdolt of my asian fam doing that thing and others alongside her) and creating new narrative on Phantom while creating a fruit salad so hence it gonna be a colourful Raoulstine one here

For the theme of dreams/nightmares I was think of Raoul telling Christine that the phantom is a nightmare that she lived despite she telling him that she did see him in real life after witnessing the hanging of Buquet through she didn't like him that much (it doesn't mean she want to kill him or see him dead) and I use the lovely Lucy St Louis (The first proper black Christine in the world and first in the West End and my muse of the diverse Christine) for this one and I also use the 2004 movie of the incomplete look with the hood to show the pure panic of her as she not even get to her countess look on time, Surprisingly as I did this doodle,one of my folks in discord that I use for practice said they love how Raoul give her a little touch actually he tried to help Christine to get a grip on the situation,For this lovely Raoul I did a Southeast Asian one especially one with Vietnamese heritage is around in that time period of Phantom and yes he's the first diverse fruit salad Raoul that I did pair with my black Christine which originally he’s biracial with Asian heritage
