Three Broomsticks: The Three Broomsticks is a celebrated inn and pub located in Hogsmeade, Highlands, Scotland, Great Britain. Hogsmeade is known for being an all wizarding village that is usually frequented by Hogwarts students. The current owner of the Three Broomsticks is a witch named Madam Rosmerta. The Three Broomsticks is extremely welcoming with a smoky but pleasant atmosphere. This pub is generally full of witches and wizards looking for a delicious glass of Butterbeer and/or Firewhiskey. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are some of the many students that come to this pub on multiple occasions.

Murtlap: Murtlaps are rat-like creatures that are native Great Britain. These creatures have a large growth that is located on their back that closely resembles a sea anemone. The Murtlap is in fact a marine animal even though it looks like a giant rodent. The tentacles that grow on its back have magical properties when pickled and eaten. While consumed, it can cause the witch or wizard to be unaffected by jinxes or curses. However, there are some dangerous side effects of eating these animals especially if you are a muggle. These side effects may include, flames coming out of the victim’s arsehole. Another side effect is someone growing purple hair of their ear. Pickled Murtlap tentacles can also heal cuts and other types of painful wounds. Murtlaps will bite the feet of anyone who steps on them. The Murtlap is classified under Beast by the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.
