I know I gush about YMCA pottery camps every summer but I love it that their very first incentive at the beginning of the week is to work and do a great job so they can have a tour of @harrisoncenterarts and if they're lucky see some artists working in their studios. This group of kids was incredible in every way! @shesoliviag and @jennydelfuego we're solid along with these kiddos last week and I even got to spend most of my time with them! Then @_aliciazanoni_ let them visit her hard at work! You'll be a true inspiration to them! @nathanfoxton paused to visit and snap this photo and @artbyaarondodd and I showed them my mess of a creative space. YMCA pottery camps have been going all summer so far but I think sweet little Alexi takes the cake so far. She walked up to show me her sculpture and I said, "Is that a school lunch?!?!?!" Yes, it is. I'm telling you all this girl is a genius and I hope she is my protege one of these days.
