How many times have you had flowers delivered to the funeral home and there’s water dripping everywhere from the oasis??? Well these Victorian funeral wreath mounds may be the answer. I spotted them in the Blenheim Palace pleasure gardens pitting shed. The wire frame was used to hold the flowers in place and the moss bed made up the overall shape of the piece. Right now I have an assistant running around a couple of big box stores pulling plants for tomorrow's location. It reminded me of this potting shed we built in the studio for an editorial. // The tile was flipped over to show the terracotta side.
