Bringing awareness to Capitalism in Buddhist Communities
I am sharing an older post from the archive of my blog today—something I originally published in 2021, which remains relevant.
I've been thinking a lot about being in Right Relationship to money, and how far I've come in my commitment to anti-capitalism and centring community before I ever look at costs. So much of what I am able to do, like publishing From the QILT2BAG+ and paying other living artists and writers for their labour, is made possible because of my support network and community. Connecting with other folks who are transparent about money, and willing to have difficult conversations about how we feel about it, is essential.
I hope this piece continues to be informative and beneficial to others who imagine a world in which people, and not profits, motivate us in all we do.
