Chrysocolla is a Breaker (Shaker) who can transform herself into a large, many limbed crystal that resembles a tree, rapidly swelling and shrinking. From there, she can summon jagged, fast-moving effigies of herself, "fruit," that can only travel a short distance (about 10 meters), and act for about 3 seconds before becoming immobile.
If the fruit collides with someone, it will cause injury. If it travels its maximum distance, however, it will leave a trail of crystals connecting the fruit and the tree, a "root". So long as this trail remains intact, the fruit can be a new vector to create more, albeit at a reduced size, distance, and frequency the further the fruit is from the central tree.
The roots can be reinforced by volleying fruit along the path, becoming tall enough to impede movement, and manipulate light, becoming blindingly bright in areas they become densely connected. They are initially fragile, and breaking them will "kill" any fruit along the line, but getting close opens you to attack from multiple angles, and to possibly become encircled.
For as long as Chrysocolla is in her breaker state, she finds it extremely difficult to breathe, and can only do so through the surface of her roots. As such, her priority is then to spread out her roots as far as possible, but her thoughts tend to race very quickly when she is in this state. It is a mistake to try to attack Chrysocolla's central tree, and is more effective to incapacitate her by trying to smother her roots as quickly as possible, or to burn off the oxygen in the surrounding area.
