It's interesting how our perceptions of 'right' and 'wrong' are shaped by our environment - and in particular, the people that are around us.

I've been trying to figure out a set of values that I feel matter strongly to me and to live by them, but when everyone around you seem to reach out for something else, it's so difficult not to feel like you're doing something wrong. 

Context is a powerful thing, and it can make a beautiful thing seem ugly.
