Definitely art. Converted a HTML file containing SVG paths and points into matplotlib traces, then shapely polygons, then finally put it all into a Geopandas dataframe and made the choropleth plot with Plotly. Exported to GeoJSON, and now it’s on GitHub so you can play with it too! https://github.com/naggeluide/ATLA_map
Front end isn’t so hard after all... and data means more if you can play with it! Interactive plots, dashboards and apps might be coming your way soon :D
