I comprised a list of the maximum gap for each Powerball Number. Currently, 22 has not been played in 118 drawings.

I thought 118 drawings was a lot until I created this list. 15 has gone 202 drawings without hitting. And other numbers have gone more than 118 drawings without hitting.

This list came from analyzing the last 1001 drawings,

Regular numbers Lowest number less than 10

I used 701 results and came up with these results. Where 1 makes 2, 3 and so on are omitted. These are broke down into the individual max hits for each group.

Where 1 number hits by itself then goes back to a number greater than 9 happens 89 times. Where the trend stops at 2 happens 39 times and so on.

The crazy thing is how the trend skips from 7 to 15. So 15 is definitely an outlier.

Having a number less than 10 happens 49.36% out of these 701 drawings. But to say how many times a number less than 10 hits 5 in a row without going to 6 only happened 3 times. To have less than 10 hit 3 times in a row without going to 4 happens 30 times.

So if the lowest number happens to be less than 10, 2 times in a row, the chances of a 3rd hit less than 10 are not very high so those numbers can be omitted from the selection process.

I posted before the 1/3/24 drawing that the Powerball number would be less that 10 based on data I had created. Since last night was a rare event, is there more at play here???

A bit of a different perspective. Looking at the boxes above each letter you see the objective of each analysis. Having B or C happens approximately every 4 drawings. The next drawing will be 4 drawings since one of those events. Because the lowest regular number is 30 in the previous (1/3/24) drawing no regular numbers can match the Powerball number. But the 1/1/24 drawing has 12 and 21 available.

I will play 2 sets for Saturday. Each one will include 1 of the available numbers.

My guess for the 1/6/24 drawing came from the previous 2 drawings. Anything above 1/1/24 is out of range for my analysis but I included the above drawings for clarification.

I also believe that a Powerball number from the previous 9 drawing will appear soon but I believe that a match as I have described is more likely now.

Last night I predicted that the Powerball number would be greater than 9. I had good reason. Above shows that out of 750 drawings, 6 hits under 10 had never happened. Last night was the first time this happened out of the data I have. I am NOT saying that over the many years of the game that this has NEVER happened but 750 drawings paints a good picture of what to expect.

The numbers in yellow shows the actual hits when the next greater number is deducted. It takes 4 to make 5 so the total number of 5's is removed to show how many 4's there actually are.

These are both groups of 10 for the last 2 drawings for the Powerball number. I haven't done a lot of these yet but there is a theme for these situations. It seems that just as a number leaves the zone to show up as a duplicate in any zone it becomes more likely to hit.

Out of 746 drawings for groups of 10 having 2 or more hits within the 10 hits above is super rare. The average for one match out of 10 is every 3.57 drawings. I believe a hit within the current 10 drawing is high. Deducting numbers less than 10 lowers the possibilities actually 3 numbers. In the next drawing for 1/3/24 the current numbers will go up leaving 25, 26 and 16 as possible candidates.

I have been playing 16 for the past few drawings and 20 before that.

The Yellow numbers represent the times that there was a regular number that matched the Powerball number. Out of 760 Drawings this only happened 61 times. It typically happens every 12-13 Drawings. Currently there hasn't been a match in 31 Drawings.

Also to have a regular ball match a Powerball twice in a row has happened 6 times out of 760 drawings. That can't happen until the first match happens. but currently that hasn't happened in 111 drawings.

For the Powerball I believe this and other situations are overdue.
