The caravan park (British version of a trailer park) where I live is having powercuts frequently there's been 4 in the past month and it's effecting mine and my boyfriend's mental health slightly cos having powercuts in the UK where temperatures are dropping to minus 1 at night isn't fun lol our caravan gets cold anyway cos of the lack of insulation, single glazed windows and thin walls but not having power to have heaters on is shit 🫤 i also can't do my washing, hoover, use my dishwasher and idk how long it'll be before my food goes off in the fridge, also got no Internet apart from my phone, luckily me and my boyfriend are having an LPG gas fire going but we've had to move our bed to have it on cos it's so cramped (we were sleeping next to it so we could never have it on) some of the people in the park don't have heating and they're having to stay in hotels and air b&bs it's crazy. Power companies 100% prioritise people who live in roads, streets but people who live in caravan parks are at the bottom end of the list it seems cos these people keep messing everyone in the park around saying they've fixed cables when they haven't it's a pisstake and I'm sick of it 😭, power was supposed to come back on at 2am last night its 11:47am and still nothing. Day to day living has just become nearly impossible and if it weren't for me being in contact with my sister who's sort of been helping us out idk what me and my boyfriend would do I've literally just had to go round her house to dry my hair FFS. The power companies just don't give a shit they're letting people fend for themselves at this point.
