Just finished the burning maze and like.... ouch didn’t think rick would actually kill one of the main characters from another series in a book outside of it akkdkd leo didn’t even see him again :( But also i liked that jasiper were broken up?? I remembered something someone on tumblr (maybe you??) said about how not every teen couple stays together forever, even more in those circumstances and i thought it was interesting to explore that
Welcome to post-TBM world! Wasn’t it wild? Yes, you probably saw me writing lots about Jason and Piper– even though I adored their relationship, it was an awesome decision to acknowledge their flaws, and also honestly, to not put such an ultimatum on the relationships of young teens! Do I think they would’ve eventually ended up together had Jason lived? Sure. But I think it was healthy and normal for Piper to take a break and figure stuff out.
Anyway, I agree it was jarring and heartbreaking (purposefully so) to have Jason die after HoO, where he was a main, POV character. But I think it just goes to show that there is no final moment of “okay, we’re safe now!” for demigods. The action and danger keeps churning after every supposed ‘happy end’.
In short, I thought it was like the most painful, gut-wrenching installment in the Riordanverse to date. But god, I’m so beyond psyched for Tyrant’s Tomb! REYNA!!!

Acabei de ver que os bombeiros informaram que tem uma parte “intacta” além de uns voluntários terem conseguido retirar alguns artefatos antes de o fogo tomar conta. A perda ainda é enorme, mas é uma vitória :(
sim, eu to acompanhando pela globo news e eles já confirmaram que conseguiram salvar alguns items num momento em que o fogo não tinha atingido certas áreas então nem tudo foi perdido! mas aparentemente já tiveram alguns colapsos em estruturas internas mas os bombeiros e engenheiros estão confiantes de que a parte exterior, a fachada do museu, vai permanecer intacta.
