“Aerith! Sorry I took so long. Something came up. “ He calls out as he spots her outside  in her flower garden.  More like  he got a lecture from Angeal again. He didn’t even bother to try explain, interrupting Angeal’s lectures just tended to drag them out more.  He slipped out as soon as Angeal was done. No doubt he’ll get lectured again later after finding out he  left  straight after.  It isn’t like he has any missions today and if an urgent one comes up that he’s needed for, it won’t take him long  to get  back for it. He knows shortcuts.  He runs up  the rest of the way but stops at the edge of the garden knowing how much she dislikes her flowers being trampled.

“I got you your money back too and the flowers you ordered I reordered them for you.” He doesn’t even care that he got scolded for making a scene and he isn’t even going to Tell Aerith either. He never wants her to feel she can’t come to him when she needs help in fear of getting him into trouble.

Tifa attempts a weak laugh but of course, she knows that sometimes getting overzealous can be the death of her. She knows that she has people she wants to protect sure. But getting reckless isn't the way to do it right? She feels her palm go to cover over her injured shoulder, wrapped up in bandage and gauze. "But I'm alright, really. Don't go worrying over me okay? I have enough people trying to do that lately."

“Ngh” a low grunt escapes Zack’s lips as he sits up, groggily blinking away the blurriness in his vision. What happened? Why goes he feel like he’s been hit by a large bolder ? As soon as a familiar environment came into focus, he looks around in confusion. Wait didn’t he  die?  Why is he waking up in Aerith’s church? Broken images fill his mind, but he manages to grasp that he was brought back to life for a reason. He just couldn’t  remember the reason, or how.   Well, Aerith isn’t here but something tells him he needs to  find Cloud first.  Some how he  knows he’s here in the slums somewhere  but not exactly where. He’ll ask around. Carefully,  he gets up and makes his way out of the church, not wanting to trample Aerith’s flowers, he knows how much she doesn’t like it.  After asking around he noticed people are weary of him, probably because of his uniform  so  he changed his approach and helped a few people  with different things  and  got  tidbits of information about someone of cloud’s description.  Eventually, he has a good lead.

He now stood in front of 7th Heaven hoping that it would be cloud in there. He opens the  door and as soon as he saw him,  a grin spread across his face.  “ Cloud!” he rushes over to him,  “I don’t know how or why, but I’m back!”

He waved the little pamphlet and gently bapped the SOLDIER in the chest with it, lips slowly widening in a knowing smirk. "If not, you...Might have a third party trying to set us up."

“ Huh!? ” Zack would actually pause; first giving a glance to his left, then to his right to make sure no one around was actually staring! Then, he’d turn back “ Hold on, are you actually being serious? ”

“ The only thing something like that’s gonna do is get us both discharged from SOLDIER. Not make that score go up! You know that! ” It’d been his latest checkup, hadn’t it? That booster dose of extra mako they’d given him had finally made him loose it, hadn’t it?
