Glad you enjoyed it! I was also a little surprised that Luke would consider killing his nephew, but in Return of the Jedi, there are moments when he is so angry that he's willing to strike down the Emperor and Vader. So it's not like it's unprecedented.

Yeah, that’s a good point. He did go totally balistic on Vader as soon as he threatened to go after Leia and turn her so I guess the thought that Ben could be capable of the same thing would be enough to provoke that brief reaction from him as well. I guess all Skywalker men apparently have anger management issues, although at least Luke is usually much better at controlling his temper than either Anakin or Kylo.

I still can’t say I’m entirely happy with Luke’s story in the movie, but that’s mainly because he’s my favorite character in the franchise and it hurts to see him of all people being so bitter and jaded for so much of the movie. But his return to form at the end with his sacrifice was pretty fantastic and a fitting way for him to go out at least!
