“Almost a thousand years ago, and for many thousands of years before that, when the sun rose gladly each morning, and the name ‘Barovia’ had no meaning to anyone, the Balinok valley was home to a great many people. The traveling Vistani and their coloful caravans, the gracious and ancient Dusk Elves, the Skovenfolk who loved and tended the land. These disparate people were united in the worship of their goddesses: The Three Ladies of the Fanes. Though their power extended across the Forgotten Realms, it was said that the Ladies chose to reside here, in this Valley, where they were in community with their worshippers.

“The Seeker adored the Vistani for their passionate embrace of all the future’s potential. The Weaver entrusted her meticulous records of the past to the Dusk Elves, who cared for history as diligently as herself. The Huntress dug her roots in with the Skovenfolk, and taught them that death is as much a part of Nature as life. The Valley was not without faults or conflict, but with the protection of the Ladies, no harm could befall it. But you know as well as I this story cannot end there.

“Barov and Strahd von Zarovich brought death to the Valley, and when their destruction of the land and the people was complete, Strahd’s wicked eyes, gleaming with lust and greed, turned to the goddesses. One after another, he desecrated their sacred shrines and robbed the Ladies of their power. He slaughtered and corrupted their followers, erasing all but the faintest memories of the goddesses they had loved, and set his thralls as guard dogs over the ruins.

“With the artifacts you have found, I do not doubt that you may be able to let Barovia glimpse a few rays of sunset. It would not be the first time such a thing has occurred. But to destroy him, for good, would require stripping him of the divine powers he has wrongfully claimed.”

I’m sorry, but can we please make a PowerPoint fandom already? Not like a PowerPoint presentation on fandoms, I mean like a literal fandom based around PPT. I’m an animator and I mainly use PowerPoint 2021 and video editing to create animations and I made models of OCs for animations and stuff all the time and I get stoked talking about PowerPoint but I literally know NO ONE else with the same interest.
