Not me waking up thinking about Ollie being represented by the fool card and Prototype still dressing that way as if trying to hold onto who he once was.

Also, the Fool can embody the characteristics of any other Major Arcana cards. It changes based on it's experiences. The people in his life literally made him a monster physically and psychologically. He started at 0 and was surrounded by horrible monsters. It was the only frame of reference he had.

Also, also, the pic of the fool in PP is missing the dog, which is a companion to the fool that warns him of approaching danger. Letting him know to look where he currently is instead of always up (to heaven). Ollie literally had had to learn to protect himself. He had no one else.

┈ ┈ I think Oliver might have had some issues with one eye after the hammer incident he mentioned. I also wanted to reflect this in his Prototype version: you can see the cracks on the original model in the game, but here I wanted to make them larger and reflect them as an injury that didn't heal even after the transformation.

My Prototype design take + thoughts on the design

OKAY. PROTOTYPE. im really glad im not the only one who is Not Happy about the design. i stopped caring about poppy playtime, never thought it was a... good game.. but it stilled always interested me. prototype espically. that voice is cool as fuck!

So yes. the design is super underwhelming. by itself? not bad! i think it looks cool? but this guy was hyped to hell and back. and the design doesnt rlly reflect how BIG he is supposed to be to the story. its just some... creepy jester.

now i understand he is a toy'! hes supposed to be a toy ! i was never a fan of the skull/human face headcanons. but i feel like it couldve been done way more creatively. have some fun with it!!! go crazy!!!

so heres what i shat out in an hour. it could be better! this could look more better! i actually am not too proud of this, i could wait and let more ideas cook but im impatient lmao.

this was made in a fraction of the time Mob did to cook up this design. i mean nothing harsh to the person who designed protoype, i just think they couldve done more with it. hell, yarnabys design is more cool and creative than this guys! i love yarnaby.

im not saying this take is "better" . art is subjective. i just wanted to do what i wouldve personally went with for prototype. if you like his canon design, all power to you. have fun.

[POPPY PLAYTIME CH 5 PROTOTYPE SPOILERS]

I actually like the prototype's vibe and lowkey the design kinda fire.. but I'm afraid it's mostly because he reminds me of M2 and my headcanons for future mimicness.

Like the way Proto speaks... mimicking voices he's heard and putting them into sentences to say what he wants... THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS TO MIMIC (headcanon and also the lore of my mimic in a Minecraft server, bc yk, natural progression of an intelligent ai)

All the robotic parts, the sounds, his strength, the orange/yellowish eye.

I think the Prototype needs to give a huge thank you to M2 because I'm realising that is definitely the reason i like his design.

And also cool jester so hello creepy pomni and all enbies love jesters i fear

the orphans all being dead just feels anti climactic to me. like, legistically, i was like.... its been years and the toys are eating each other to survive ? how would a ton of orphans be kept alive? were they just like.... frozen?
