Event 8: Wrap-up

Event 8: Return to the Toyroom ended Wednesday at midnight, but there are still a few organizational issues to finish up. If you haven't already, we need you to do the following:

Try to complete any event-related paras over the next few days, and/or

Be sure to summarize any headcanons you may have for things that took place during the event, consulting with any other players involved as necessary. You can either leave this as a summary, or write the para at a later date. An example of an event para summary, should you need one, can be found [here.]

Make certain that all your event-related posts use the tag "ppcevent8," and keep any masterposts updated and organized.

Remember, you must eventually complete at least one para or self-para related in some way to this event.  If you're not going to be able to meet that requirement, contact Lissa about it. We'll be doing a masterpost/recap for the whole event, and that should be posted sometime early next week, as well as the announcement of which masters earned points with the Caretaker for their conduct during the event.

Attention Masters

You may notice a new addition to the toy room. For today only, we have extra entertainment. As Master Cooper Anderson has deprived the island of a toy, he will be taking its place.

I am revoking all toy room rules in regards to him. The guards will be available with any extra toys should you require them. I encourage all Masters to stop in and have a bit of fun.

ooc: would it be okay for me to say that they drugged Rachel to get her inside the cage or something, or would that be godmodding...? I'm not quite sure how all this works, so I just want to check to make sure!

That's perfectly fine! She would either be drugged or dragged by her hair. The guards really have no preference. Keep in mind, if she's drugged, they will grope.

Event 8: The Toyroom Is Now Open

Good morning everyone, Master Blaine Anderson here. I'm pleased to announce that the toyroom is now open. All the slaves have been prepped and prepared for three days of non-stop fun. For you, not them. Well, maybe for them, if you're feeling generous and they're at least a little masochistic, but... that's not important. Just head on down to the play room on the first floor, and the guards will show you where the slaves are being held. Feel free to bring your claimed slaves if you feel like sharing, or just playing in public. Or you can even let them join in the fun and dish out a little pain themselves, for once.

Again, there's no need to bring your own toys - the Caretaker has generously provided an ample supply. If there's anything you need that isn't in the room already, notify a guard - or me, if I'm down there - and we'll have it brought in for you without delay.

ooc: Since I'm new...how exactly do events work since not everyone is online 24/7 during the few days that the event is happening? Do we pre-plan paras with others, or do we just go spontaneously based on when we're online and who's on when we are?

It's sort of a mixture of both, usually! We pre-plan paras a lot of the time. But we during an event like this we also do dash convos, which can spark more paras, and spontaneously chat a little in the OOC about who's free when and who wants to do what.

Can two Masters use the same slave at the same time?

Yes they can. Group activities are highly encouraged. The more playtime, the better. Can't have slaves feeling neglected now can we?

Are multiple slaves allowed out to be used by the same Master at once?

Yes. Masters can use as many slaves at a time as they wish.

Since all the slaves are in a cage, when a Master takes one out to use, are they supposed to do so in the room or do they take them to another room or their suites?

The unclaimed slaves remain in the “toyroom” for the entire event.

Picture a large room: the group cage where the slaves are corralled is in the center. The ceiling has nice exposed rafters with big metal hooks, in case you want to suspend anyone, and against the walls are a couple of St. Andrew’s crosses, as well as several benches and tables with restraints. There are also plenty of padded chairs around if you’d like to just sit and watch for a bit. Toys of every kind imaginable are neatly lined up on tables at intervals throughout the room - basically, write as if you have anything you’d ever possibly need. A guard is posted at the door to make sure no one walks off with any island property, and three more guards are present to help restrain any unruly slaves.… there’s also a table near the entry with coffee, punch and cookies. Blaine thought that would be a nice touch.

All the unclaimed slaves should be able to see what happens to all the other slaves and can react on the dash accordingly - with horror, by attempting to comfort each other, or by trying to hide behind each other and escape unnoticed.
