PPG and MOTU are two of my favorites, so this poster has been a long time coming. I started the individual character designs two years ago! My excitement for the new movie helped give me the POWER 😜 to finally finish.

Holy moly memgo making an au!?!

I got very busy on doodling and designing some characters, especially lore. This au is literally abot the sea and sea shanty theme such as sailor and pirates. This take place in 1738. The powers are very limited to users. Ordinary humans cannot perform magic except sorcerer (when they learn basic or bloodline) and merfolks (siren and etc.)

The group for famous girls would be called Puffin Crews, and also they're normal humans and orphan until they get adopted by Utonium at the age of 5-7. Sadly the girls aren't pirates so instead they consider themselves as sailors.

Chemical X is replaced known as "Curse" which type of magic that provoke and transform anything to the victim they do or not deserve this punishment. Mojo was part of the curse which is the artifact he stole as young chimpanzee before it accidentally activate the artifact and it now permanently stuck on top of his head forever.

This au still unfinished which means there's more to go.

Predictions for the Powerpuff Girls live-action series (based on what I know of the CW shows):

1) The Powerpuff hotline is now a smartphone app

2) Buttercup coming-out-of-the-closet character arc 

3) Blossom-Brick angsty romance (superhero falling for a supervillain type of angst)

4) At least one villain will get killed by the Powerpuff Girls, as an attempt to make the PPG morally-grey. 

5) Most of the fights will be in a warehouse

6) The Mayor will be written in a more villainous manner with him trying to start an affair with Miss Bellum, despite being married 

7) At least one of the Powerpuff Girls will have daddy issues. Something that Professor Utonium did in the past caused the rift. 

8) Samurai Jack appears in one episode as a way of setting up his series (it’ll be the Flash to the PPG’s Arrow). Also, let me just say this...if there’s ANY Cartoon Network series that deserves a dark live-action adaptation, it’s Samurai Jack. That’s literally just season 5.  

9) At least one male character will be genderbent. If I had to pick, it’ll most likely be HIM (so...it’ll be HER in the live-action version).
