Deb’s cute. I hope she gets some help and learns to appreciate and take care of herself. I’ll bring her back in my run on All-New, All-Different Frightful Four.

So one of the Frightful Four’s main deals is that they always fight over whose power is best. This is particularly jarring when you consider that their powers are, literally: glue, sand, and the concept of hovering.

So here they are: Philip Chang! Marcy Kane! Steve Hopkins! Deb Whitman! Morris Sloan! 

Peter Parker’s grad school buddies, and your favorite characters! I mean...wait. Wait. I have no idea who these people are. How do I have no idea who these people are?

Well, to figure this out, I went right to the Internet’s #1 expert on former teen superheroes who make bad decisions all the time, @traincat. Here’s what she had to say:

Well. I like Marcy already, because she confirms that aliens in the Marvel Universe disguise themselves as people with identical names (see: a Skrull named Lyja who disguised herself as Alicia).

I also like Deb, because, look, I have also been driven to a nervous breakdown by Marvel superheroes.

Anyway, I know you’re busy playing Spider-Man’s great new PS4 game, but if you have a second to read this blog: it turns out that the next issue of the Fantastic Four, #218, is actually the second part of a story arc that begins in Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #42! So we’ll be taking a look at that issue here before we plunge into that adventure.

Anyway, so here we go. It’s time to fight on top of the Statue of Liberty.
