Giving back to charity is essentially good PR
Other than the fact that charitable giving makes you feel good, supporting non-profit organizations can provide immense benefit. My tips on handing media interviews
As I am the PR expert, I do think I'm well placed on giving tips about media interviews. So often I see that CEOs who haven't been exposed to the media fail when speaking about their company. You're expected to be a leader, so you need to act like one.
Here's some tips from my book, For Immediate Release:
1. Know what you want to say and how you want to say it beforehand.
2. Practice and prepare. Poor preparation leads to poor performance.
3. Body language says everything. Don't be awkward or roll your eyes, that's a harsh look.

An inspiration. RIP Dan Edelman.
The PR industry lost a great pioneer yesterday - Dan Edelman passed away at the age of 92. He founded what is considered to be the largest PR firm in the world.
His company today has over 4,500 employees in numerous cities throughout the world. The PR industry owes a thank you to Dan Edelman for what he did for the public relations industry. We at 5wPR salute the legendary pioneer Dan Edelman.
Just because you're on TV doesn't make you a good role model

I'm pretty passionate about this stuff. I had to comment about it. Oxygen Network's "All My Babies' Mamas" looks like its going to be cancelled before it airs. The show will feature Shawty Lo and the 11 children his fathered with 10 different baby mamas.
And the petition calling for ComCast/NBC Universal to halt any further development of the show. In my opinion, just because you are on reality TV doesn't make you a good role model. Especially for kids.
Why fully integrated marketing helps brands succeed
Brands really need to focus on integrating as many marketing channels to be successful. There isn't one route or channel that will guarantee sales and that's a risky strategy if you're only using one channel.
