It happens to me a lot too, especially in the summer. Maybe set up an incentive for getting started on it, and then see if you get going?
Good point. I'm going to leave my apartment tomorrow as soon as I wake up and get dressed. I'm going to force myself to go to the school and try to focus. Hopefully that works. Incentive being, I will be less stressed.

Advanced Method 2 is great. If you aren’t also playing the Selected Studies, you should look into them. Also by Rubank, organized by key with 2 very good studies in each minor and major key. My teacher had me play them along with Advanced 2.
Thanks for the advice. I'll have to look into getting that! I have Amazing Phrasing too, and I'm working that a bit, and I have soo many jazz songs I have to prepare for a festival, so after when my load lightens a bit I'll try to pick it up!
