Women in Mahabharata - Pradveshi
She is the wife of Deerghatama. She never approved of her marriage and her husband's indiscriminate indiscretions.
Hence, she along with her sons, with the help of the god Traitana and a brahmin-leader Dasa, beats up, then ties Deerghatama to a raft and sets him afloat on Ganga.
Deerghatama, expresses his deep frustration, as well as love for the land of the king who rescued him, saying, "I am still a leader and the charioteer of the people who still want to work for their prosperity."
