rip van winkle and her childhood. did she learn how to sing from her mother?
send me a topic to write a meta about my muse on
Ahhhh I get to revisit my old rip headcanons!! I actually had this discussion with @drnapyeer a while ago (god like two years??), but I’ll rehash it since I’m sure no one who follows me now was following me now.
Adette Schneider was born in the late 1920′s. Her mother was a famous opera singer, and the first time Rip attended her performance was when she was four years old. From that time on, she would finish her school assignments early so she could run to the performance hall and hide in the back and just LISTEN. She would close her eyes and listen to her mother sing. Those memories are her favorite.
Her parents encouraged her to sing, especially when they found she had inherited her mother’s natural talent. Her mother even swore that one day, when Adette was older, they would perform together.
At fourteen, after years of being in the H.itler Y.outh, she was taken back and transformed into an artificial vampire without her consent. She never had the chance to perform with her mother.
