I want to share my great news. God is oh-so-good! I am grateful to announce that I was officially accepted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At 32 Years Old, I created this desire to become an MD/Obgyn (Doctor). I originally was denied (mostly due to much of my high school information being out of date (I needed a 27 ACT score)). I never gave up! In 2019, I was blessed to return to school, and I started classes @ Shelton State. I produced high merits, applied again to UAB, and they were able to see my credentials in real time. The doors that once were closed to me are now open to me. This #PreMed ride has been an emotional, spiritual-binding, and tireless one. I'm am so #grateful to be here, at this point. I am #highlyfavored and #blessed. There are many other women, moms, and non-traditionals I've talked to and met online that are on the same journey as me! Keep up the great work! You've Got This! Keep up the great work! I first thank God. I thank those that are actively involved in my life, pushing me and providing me support along the way. @promethearecycling was supposed to get certain features for a game they’re developing done by Wednesday or else I would rev up my shame engine and look disappointed at them and it would be terrifying and awful!! You can’t even imagine how shame inducing it would have been. Trust me.

Well they’ve managed to code it by Tuesday unlocking praise instead! So I purringly bow to their game dev abilities and hope one day I can be as good as them at getting code done on a whim like that~! Please take a moment of silent awe with me~

Just Had Another Fabulous Voice Lesson!

I love summer lessons, because you can just work on things you sometimes have to rush through during the school year.

I also love going to school where there are so many TAs that are willing to help and work with you. Like my friend Mark Kano! I wish he had been in my life before now...to give me fabulous teachings and lessons.

But at least I have now during my undergrad instead of when I'm like 30 and he's a famous/too busy for me/expensive voice teacher.
