while working on my midterm and re-visiting the article are the far-right BNP, I think about how the media ca influence so much in terms of what is considered “alternative” and how white people can still whine and complain that they are the “other”. 

But this photo does give me a lot to think about - if these kids were black, or not mostly white, would they be met with the same kind of praise as the Parkland kids? Still in awe of their activism to respond to such a horrific tragedy.
