JG Quintel worked in a movie theater when he was younger doing cleaning. There was one time that someone called him at work and pranked him making creepy voices saying he was watching him in the mall. This was the inspiration for the episode: “Prank Callers” on Regular Show (season 1 episode 9)
I’m curious what the TV Ad we never got to see from “Prank Callers” was. I’m assuming maybe an Answering Machine commercial? It’d fit in line with how they get one at the end. Still though, would be cool to see if it’s not somewhere online in storyboard form.
