💒 What kind of wedding would they want to have?
Sombra would want something small and intimate. She loves grandeur and luxury, and has a flare for the dramatic, but when it comes down to it her focus would be the person she loves and the bond they share together. Getting to that point would be such an immense feat with Sombra, that whomever she’d want to marry would be so absolutely precious to her, that the consummation of their love in marriage would be frankly sacred to her. She’d want something quiet and simple, totally about the love they share. An unadorned ceremony would be her way of saying to whomever she’s committed to, “there’s nothing in this world more magnificent than us, together.”
The idea of having children is absolutely repulsive to her for a number of reasons. Family is such a source of trauma for her that even just getting married would be a major step. Further, she’s seen the world the worst has had to offer, and she’d be scared of bringing a child into it. Finally, she’d be really frightened that she’s unfit to be a mother, and that she’d utterly screw up whatever kid(s) she had.
That said, it’s not that the idea of being a mom is repulsive to her in and of itself. She is pretty weirded out by being tied down, but could be convinced. Most of her hurdles would be around feeling inadequate or being afraid, especially if she hadn’t yet sorted out the Eye conspiracy. She’s not gonna drag another life into that mess. Still, in the right circumstances, I could definitely see her as a mother. She’d be a cool, kind liberal, very overprotective but also very loving mother. I think she’d be a lot better at it than she thinks she’d be, and anyone who messed with her kid would be screwed.
