Updated Matrix 1 + 2 for the 'Communicating With Images' project.
Facial Tissue Packaging (For Children)
The following is an overview for the initial steps in a project I'll freely title ‘Facial Tissue Packaging (For Children)’ in which I will be documenting and posting the process on this blog.
'Demographics: Children, that allows us to create a story, or stories seen as a book for children, using all the panels. "Children" is meant for ages 3 to 10. Illustrations on the side panels and partially on top, can show subjects such as color Illustrations, cartoons of animals, vehicles, toys, fruits, and so on.
Think of Colors (you can bring in ideas).
The project will be two or three cartons, sold as singles, doubles or triples wrapped together.
You have the option of creating your own “Brand” Name. Please, do not use the name Kleenex. We may not have the right to use this name for this project and can get into some problems. "Wipies," or another possible name, might be less problematic from the legal point of view.
The cartons that are easy to use and look good when used in sequence, are the square cartons with an oval opening. The opening should be done so, that the tissues will come out undamaged. So far that was achieved on the existing Kleenex cartons. The bottom panel on these cartons can be left blank. It is for the UPC code and legal information. Top opening has to be round or oval, so that the tissues will not tear when being pulled out. The other panels are free for illustrations. Assuming that the tissues are sold as one, two or three cartons wrapped in cellophane together, the side panels can carry story illustrations.'
