That hellion lives?! After so long without their presence bothering me, I was beginning to think they'd met their doom in the caverns below! Shame to see I am proven false.

And a greater shame that they return with such vulgarity. I needn't give this childishness any attention, for it may only encourage such undignified behavior! It is no fault of mine they fell to my glorious blade in the coliseum. Should they find themself sore over the loss, that is their own trouble to sort out. Perhaps they would have done better had they followed the Precepts!

why do people keep saying elizabeth afton had blonde hair when her sprite had orange hair ? 😭 wouldn't she be more of a redhead??? where the hell did the blonde come from

Maybe from the graphic novel? The graphic novel depicts her as blond... and then as brunette, for some reason. I don't know, I haven't read the whole thing. I've just seen pictures. XD

Though I would say the color is more strawberry-blond than blond or redhead. Which is a shade of blond that can look very red depending on the shade.

It should be known that red hair is the rarest color of hair, even though there's a lot of redheads featured in the Fnaf books. So, blond hair may be a little more realistic considering the family we know.

If you're going of recessive genes, the fact that Elizabeth has this light of hair when her father and brother have matching dark hair IS rather surprising- she could've inherited it from her mother, of course, but that is still quite lucky.

Likewise, green eyes are also very rare to inherit, but with Michael's blue eyes and Will's (grey?) eyes, it is less of a stretch. If Will's are actually a light shade of blue, not grey, then that would make it likely for Elizabeth to inherit green from someone in the recent family.

But we were talking about hair color, and I think it comes down to shade. Baby's- and other redheaded characters- hair is so stark red that it makes Baby's look light in comparison.

i love being shown, not told things in fiction i love only finding out about the protagonist’s past and background in a pivotal moment that makes how they acted previously suddenly make perfect sense and I also already know them so i feel the impact emotionally. i love when novels feel like manga where a huge half or full-page panel is used for one vastly powerful statement one character makes that changes everything

an author simply can’t manufacture caring about the protagonist on page 1. i’m reading a really bad romance novel right now where the author tries this so hard. if Rock Lee had been introduced like this instead of this being a flashback after we got to see him flirt with Sakura, fight his hardest with his team in the Chunin selection exams and finally meet his match against Gaara and then finally see this side of him, it would have been so different

Between a nagging incredibly painful migraine I have finally started the set up on my new laptop (it’s so pretty... but screw you Windows 10 and your attempts to make me have online things I don’t want... If I want a local profile I shouldn’t have to FIGHT with you to create it... tch) and over the weekend I’ll have to get things transferred and set up from my desktop so I can seamlessly move from one to the other when I want to. (And remove the bloat-ware... thanks Microsoft...) Also updated the tumblr page theme to try something new, narrowed the blog back down to just Ver since I really don’t do things on Sola (Murder-Bun will be fun-alting for screenies and so on once I finish the all-class-grind here in a bit, but I doubt I’ll change the theme around for her). Not sure how I feel about the theme yet, but it’s crisp and clean, so there’s that... but the lack of a header is a little ‘hm’. 

Holiday/Winter vibes are the usual -_- but trying to keep busy around them ^^ and push through. Work has been a roller-coaster of ‘heck’ but a positive at the holiday party was the ‘head’ of the office stopped by our (the QA group’s) table and asked ‘how are you doing?’ and we gave the usual ‘oh fine’ and he pressed ‘no, how are you REALLY doing’ which made us pause and then launch into our issues and woes and complaints, more or less as diplomatically as we could while still being vexed/aggrieved/upset as we are. It was telling... that he realized/knew that he needed to press the question. I wonder if it’s because of our previous lead quitting due to burn out... or if the general anger/unease/disquiet has filtered through to him from other areas, because some of the devs are aware of our... unhappiness. It isn’t good when we are literally unsure if ‘are they trying to get us to quit? do they not want a qa team at all?’ and discuss it as a group privately without really knowing. Ah hah. But judging from his comments, that honestly doesn’t seem to be the case. Who knows.

I’d like for the new year to be a good one. I’d like for my friends to be happy and in better places. I’d like for my job to stop jerking me around. I’d like for things to just... be stable and settle. I’d like 2020 to be... better. But we’ll see. Still have another couple of weeks of ‘19 to go first.

Consider with me a second

-Elias and Chise both realizing that they basically had no childhood and so they spend several days doing indulgent childish things they had always wanted to do together.

-It’s mostly stuff Chise wants to do since she kinda knows a little better the things children would do but Elias does it all with her and has a few things he wants to do as well

-They make blanket forts and color

-They try staying up till way past midnight reading a comic book by flashlight together and sleeping in late the next morning

-Chise goes out and buys the first hand held game system she can find and starts playing animal crossing

-Elias gets a turn and doesn’t really get it but he likes watching Chise play

-They spend one night making stupidly huge ice cream sundaes and get headaches before they can even finish eating them

-Elias wants to do some weird game that apparently was popular 150 years ago and explains it to Chise who is completely lost but has fun anyway

-Chise tells Elias that she had always wanted to play baseball and he, Ruth and silky have small game with her in the backyard

-They go swimming in the pond deep in forest doing everything from splashing each other to races

-When they’re eventually all tuckered out Elias says that he had fun but he’s really sad that Chise never got to experience the real thing

-To which Chise says that it doesn’t matter she was just glad to have silly fun with him
