For those who have: how did you learn to read Hebrew as an adult? I am at an annoying stage where I can recognize most of the letters (get the c/k/kh/ch sounds mixed up still) but reading works is painfully difficult, often times feels impossible without vowels. I'm trying to read along in my siddur at shul rather than just rely on memory, but I was never formally taught. Resources, books, apps, tips, etc all appreciated!

I'm a conversion student, and am typically am situated at a Reform synagogue, but I occasionally attend services at Conservative and Orthodox schuls, and one thing I noticed that I'm unfamiliar with, is every time "Baruch Atah Adonai" is said, the congregants say something directly after. And I can't catch what it is.
