Warrior 2 with a Prayer Twist :)
Class 34: In which I almost kill someone (actually, two someones)
I want to start out by saying "yay, my wrist feels better"! It's really only stiff and a little twingy at this point. I even did a couple legit chatturangas, holler.
We also learned how to do revolved dancer, which is cool, and I think my revolved half moon is getting loads better (not that I can look at myself to find out and balance at the same time). And we stepped from prayer twist to revolved crescent again today, and I totally aced it.
The fun part, though was when we were working on headstands. I like working on headstands, even though it makes my head feel squishy and hurty for a while afterwards. But I was trying to figure out the balance thing, and playing with lifting my legs and so on and so forth, and I decided to just go for both of them at the same time. Which probably wasn't a totally bad idea because I made it up, for approximately .0005 seconds, and then overbalanced and, because I was on the top of my mat not the back like I should have been, fell out (pretty gracefully, I think) onto the girl in front of me.
I kid, I kid. Well, not really. I rolled out onto the girl in front of me's mat. Luckily, she was practicing against the wall like a sane person. I did fall kind of sideways though, and almost hit the girl next to her.
But yeah, how's that for a story?
