I probably will.
I don't want to just blow open the floodgates on requests, though. I have 10 or so requests in my drafts (proud of myself for knocking it down from 17!!) and I'm obligated to at least try to fill them before I take on a whole host of new requests.

You deserved a normal life, a life where you aren't constantly looking over your shoulder. It was the only way I knew how to give it to you. All of my decisions were made to protect you. Even if it meant you hating me for it, I accepted that.
Yeah, well that plan didn't really work how you wanted it to, did it? You can protect someone a lot better if you're actually there for them, instead of abandoning them and running off to Kalahira only knows where.
You left me with family that... wasn't even family. They didn't know what to do with me, or even if they wanted me. I grew up with no one and no place I really belonged to, and you question how things ended up the way they have?
You made the choices in your life because I didn't give you the proper guidance when you were younger. I thought keeping you away from the reality of the life I led would protect you. I failed you as a father. Your choices are the product of my choices. I hope you will give me the chance to begin making amends.

Well… I have to give you some credit for at least owning up to your mistakes, Father. It's about time you showed some semblance of responsibility where I'm concerned in your life. Hell, it's about time I was actually a concern in your life at all.
