Es triste ver como la persona que con su música te ayudo salir adelante, cae y tu no puedes hacer nada
@nickjonas: Like all of you I am reeling at the news about Demi. All of us love her and need to pray for her to get well. She is a fighter. #prayfordemi
Demi Lovato overdose.
I want to take some time to talk about Demi Lovato's hospitalization to give my thoughts on it. I would like to start saying that I'm not a fan of Demi's music meaning that this in not a statement in which I'm tying to defend her for her music, but for the person she is and the respect she deserves.
Demi has struggled for a long long time with alcohol, drugs, being dipolar and bulimia. Regardless every single shit she has been going through she has always been very supportive with her fans showing them the bright side. I've met a lot of people that looked up for Demi in many aspects of her life. She made millions of girls and boys confidents of their bodies, sexuality... of their own persona. She gave all this people all the strength they needed. With that said I want to make clear how many tables she has turned.
Having done that, having recovered for such things, being sober for six years... and she's back at in, in the blink of an eye, ending up at the hospital for overdose. My question here is, why would anyone be so stupid for insulting her for that. You never know what's going through people's life, their demons, insecurities... One day you can be just fine and the next day you're back at it. PEOPLE SUFFER. And when you are overwhelmed by all this fame, money and fans always around you, you found shelter in drugs, it's an actual problem, and it needs to end. But it's a fucking reality, so instead of saying crap about her we should all be praying she's alright to find a way out to end with all of this.
I think this case with Demi is lighting up important conversations that we should've been having for a long time... PAIN, and how you try to find a way out, because there's a way, there always is.
IT IS NEEDED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH, AND IT IS NEEDED TO BE TREATED (with respect, privacy and kindness).
I love this girl so much. She will rise from this.

It really makes me sick to my stomach with how many people I see bashing Demi.
To the people who are bashing her, y’all are making the situation worse. If you don’t know anything about mental illness or addiction then keep your mouth shut! Y’all are the reason why people turn to drugs, because they want an escape. Instead of bashing them, help them, talk to them, listen to them. That’s all it takes. Sometimes mental illness is like big black whole, they don’t think. Trust me, I deal with it every single day, I know about first hand (I don’t do drugs, but I do deal with depression and anxiety). People have to realize words are like ticking time bomb, you say the wrong thing and BOOM something happens to that person because you didn’t know when you keep your mouth shut. My suggest for people is get educated on mental health and addiction. It’s a disease and affects billions of people every single day. Let’s talk about it.
