My beautiful home is on fire. No signs of rain or snow anywhere. It breaks my heart every time I hear more than half a million acres have been burned. This is big sky country and yet the big sky is full of smoke. We are in a state of emergency and we need all the help we can get.

Pray for Texas... But also pray for Montana. If you didn’t already know, Montana has been burning for most of the summer, due to wildfires. So far this year, more than 1,500 fires have burned 937 square miles in Montana. That’s over half a million acres... Not to mention the smoke. But yet many don’t know about it. I am in no way trying to undermine the severity and tragedy of Hurricane Harvey (now tropical depression). This is simply to raise awareness for another state in need. My prayers go out to everyone effected by these tragedies, or any other tragedy for that matter. whether it be a hurricane or a really bad day at school, I am here.

Hey, I don't normally do these kind of posts, but I'm gonna do it today. Everyone is obviously praying for hurricane Harvey and everyone down there, but up here in Montana, we are having historic records of wildfires. It's burned down over half a million acres and 40 lightning strike have started new fires just recently. I am living in Great Falls and I have unhealthy air to breath, we've been told to keep our windows closed, turn up the air conditioner and stay inside. My own brother who goes to JobCore is fighting a fire that just recently went over the ridge towards us. He has been fighting the same fire for well over a month. In glacier national Park, a building built in 1913 burned down. Thankfully the national guard has been sent to help, but we will need all the help we can get so please add us to your prayers. PS. Montana wildfires

Okay, so, here's the deal. I am not going to deal with this "pray for Harvey" stuff along side a post about Montana wildfires. It's terrible what's going on down there but I shouldn't have to validate it in a post about the terrible things I'm currently experiencing. It's feminists explaining they don't hate men and I can't deal with it. Honestly it's very tiring, because both areas have thousands of people being evacuated, it's just two different natural disasters.

Now, onto what I really want to talk about. Currently there are over 40 wildfires in the state of Montana.

In the last month(correct me if I'm wrong) there has been 60 lightning strikes that have started fires in Montana and surrounding states. 40 of those have been in Montana.

Montana filed for natural disaster and aid from the government in July when our cattle fields were in flame. We're only getting it in this last week.

I currently live in a part of Montana where the air is code red for most of the time because of smoke in the air. Last night, we had a red moon and almost hit the "very unhealthy" level because ash particles were in the air THAT WE BREATH. There were places last night that were literally hazardous to breath. Those places have been cleared up a little by wind, but that's still such a scary thought. That I possibly couldn't even breath air outside of my own home.(yes there are places like that that people live in, but this post in not talking about those places so please kindly keep those thoughts to yourself.)

Some officials working on this disaster have actually said that only snow will stop this fire season. We are praying for rain and, hopefully if it can get cold enough even with a blanket of smoke over us, snow.

I wonder if when God created us he expected such tragedy? Sure he knew we would have flaws, but did he know how deep they would go? The last year America alone has become more divided than I have seen in my 28 years of life. We protest everything! Black lives matter, blue lives matter, gay pride, transgender awareness, and the big one RELIGION. All these things causing internal wars within our own country! How ashamed we should be. There are the few who preach all lives matter, this is true. But now look around us. My state of Montana, California, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Wyoming... we are burning. We haven't seen the color of our sky in months and our air is becoming toxic. Then we have the south, multiple states being slammed by huge hurricanes. Covering city after city in water. Destroying homes and business... taking lives. Christians are quick to preach the rapture, even tho it's just our country being attacked (Americans are self centered) ... But right now we are on the verge of a war. What if this is God's way of telling us to grow up? What if he is trying to unify us to strengthen us? Forget the whole love yourself bullshit, love every one else. Love them before its to late.

Please please please get this around. Not the sams angle but it is tge same town. The only help we're getting is 350+ National Guard on the fire line and the over worked crews still there. And the NG are all Montana boys and girls. The North West is up in flames.

It is sadly raining ash here from all the surrounding fires. Over 600,000 acres are burning in Montana alone. Thousands have been evacuated, many have lost everything, including their lives. These fires have started due to dry lightening storms. There is no warning and no prediction as to where a fire will start. These fires are unable to be fully contained because there's simply not enough man power for all the fires. I never thought I'd ever utter these words, but please pray for the snow to come early, or a miraculous amount of rainfall to snuff the fires out. #prayformontana
