So half of my beautiful home state of Nebraska is underwater and it's not being brought to national attention??

Thousands have been displaced from their homes.

Cattle ranchers and farmers have lost their homes, sources of income, livestock, and crops.

People are trapped in their towns by roads and bridges that have been washed away.

But it's fine. I'm sure the rest of the country will do fine without their main sources of beef, corn, wheat, and other meats, vegetables, and grains. They don't need to know about this natural disaster happening right in the center of our great nation.

The Red Cross is working toward relief efforts and they could use some help. Please check on your loved ones.

To all the turds saying that the crisis in Nebraska is ‘irrelevant to the economy’:

One million (1,000,000) cows/calves were lost to the flooding.

Cropland that’s still flooded at this point may not get planted at all.

In case that means nothing to you (because ya’ll big city folks don’t understand as much as you obviously think you do), and you are still insisting it doesn’t affect you, don’t come back and complain when beef, corn products, and fuel prices sky rocket. Because that is what is going to happen.

You know what the worst thing is? Being away from your home state for a month and it is underwater...literally. Just to top that off you can’t do a damn thing about it. Some of my friends and family have been evacuated from there homes or stranded in different towns by themselves all around the state. Like my home town is land locked along with others.Please keep Nebraska in your prayers.

Anyone want to hear a lengthy rant about how angry I am that the flooding in Nebraska isn’t getting news coverage? Because I’m more than a little bit peeved.

I literally mean it when I say Thank You God for people like those at Fareway Stores and Hy-Vee (both grocers out of Iowa) for donating to the relief because God knows help isn’t coming from anywhere else. We’re on our own in the Midwest.

Please put Nebraska as well as surrounding areas in your prayers. We are undergoing massive flooding. Families are being evacuated from their homes. Whole towns have been evacuated. Towns are under water. Flooding getting to the tops of vehicles. We have national guard helping to rescue families surrounded by the floods. Roads and highways closed off from rivers overflowing and being covered with water. Bridges falling apart.
