My power is back on! I did not think they'd have it fixed this soon. Just this morning there was a power pole and lines all over my yard! And tonight my whole neighborhood has power! Only 5 days after the hurricane when they initially said it could take 2 months! I know most of my town is still in the dark and I feel for them. But I am just so grateful for this! I am so thankful to all the linemen and other relief workers for making this happen. And I'm not a particularly religious person but I do maintain a personal relationship with God and I have been thanking him more these last few hours than I ever have. This is amazing and it makes me hopeful for the future. My town will rise again and we will be stronger than ever. #850strong

Pray for the states getting hit by Michael between tonight and tomorrow. I thought Jax would be in the safe zone but it looks like we’re gonna get smacked with bans. And even better, if the power goes out the high is in 90s after the storm. So we’re going to be thrilled to death. Last year everyone in my house had severe heat exhaustion.
