It would be nice and this is going to be my personal opinion, but I think it would be best if this country doesn't have guns at all. Orar por cosas por las que no estamos dispuestos a accionar es un hermoso sentimiento. Simplemente es como no hacer nada. Antes de pedir “plegarias y buenos pensamientos” en cualquier instancia, asegúrese de detenerse a pensar que va a hacer para accionar con relación a esa oración que va a elevar. Debe estar en apertura para recibir guía sobre lo que está orando. Recuerde que durante la oración llega claridad, guía… a veces hasta instrucciones. Si no esta dispuesto a hacer nada con ello, ha perdido el tiempo orando. Le invito a leer el Capítulo 2 del libro de Santiago para que entienda la importancia de orar en apertura para tomar acción. I feel so gutted reading the details of that horrific shooting yesterday. I can’t imagine the pain of the parents who lost children; the kids who will be scarred and traumatized for life; and every parent whose child went to school this morning. After each shooting, we say the same things and nothing ever happens. I pray this is the one that spurs change. I pray something changes to stop the next one.
