I'm mad. I'm sad. I'm tired. I'm sick and tired of "thoughts and prayers." Prayers are a waste without action. Chalking it up to us just "living in a fallen world" is an excuse. Time for policy changes and actual action. Jesus was a brown skinned hippy who hung out with society's outcasts anways and railed against the political leaders of his time. He never ever would've stood on the sidelines with only thoughts and prayers. He would've taken action. Thoughts and prayers needs to start translating to policy and change. Yes, let's force women to have babies (which is a whole separate issue) and send those babies off to school one day at risk to be shot and killed, but let's do absolutely nothing about our gun laws to prevent this. It's maddening. There is nothing "pro life" about guns. The governor of Texas says “Chicago and LA and New York disprove the thesis” that stiffer gun laws prevent gun murders. However, there are zero gun shops in Chicago. The guns largely originate from spots like Wisconsin, Indiana, Texas, etc..... ya know, the states that don't regulate gun laws at all.
